Thirty leaders from Oklahoma City traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with Mayor Kirk Hymphreys to visit a model of community empowerment. Out of that impacting visit, the Christian Leadership Foundation of Oklahoma City was formed under the direction of a board of local leaders. Our vision is to "nurture and empower ministries focused on caring for all of the people in Oklahoma City in the name of Christ."

The Christian Leadership Foundation of Oklahoma City exists to focus Christian Leadership and compassion on the unmet needs of our community. The Foundation accomplishes its goal by networking key relations within the community. The networking provides the skills and resources needed to bring about change, in the name of Christ. The Foundation's source of leadership is broad based. It comes from business, labor, professions, government, churches and nonprofit organizations. These leaders all have two basic things in common. They have experienced the heart of God, and they desire to express God's heart to others.
